Your data and privacy

Periscope checks identity and financial documents, so it helps to be exact about what happens to yours.

• Documents are read on European infrastructure, by Binderr's own vision model. Nothing you upload is sent to a third-party AI provider.
• Your check history stays on your device. Past results live in your browser, not on a server, so no one else can see what you've checked.
• One record is kept for quality review. For each check, the team retains a private copy of the document and its result, used only to review and improve accuracy. This record is not shared outside the team.
• Product analytics is metadata only. We track things like how long a check takes or which document type was used, never the contents of what you upload.

Together, these mean Periscope is built to keep your documents out of third-party hands and off other people's screens, while still allowing the team behind it to check its own work.
