A faster first check

The model starts warming up the moment you sign in

Signing in now begins warming up the vision model in the background, so it is often ready by the time you upload your first document. The first check of a session feels noticeably quicker, with no change to how later checks work.

UX

A way to get in touch

New contact page

There is now a Contact page, linked from the footer, with a simple form to send us a note. Leave your email and a message and the team will get back to you.

VerificationResults

The field count now matches the result

Metadata extraction counts what it found

The metadata extraction step now reports the number of fields actually read from your document, so it lines up with the fields listed in the result below. It no longer counts empty placeholders the document does not carry.

UX

A polished preview when you share a link

Branded link previews everywhere

Sharing a Periscope link in Slack, WhatsApp, X, LinkedIn, or iMessage now shows a clean branded card with the Periscope lockup and tagline, instead of a bare URL.

UX

A tidier page-not-found screen

On-brand when a link goes nowhere

Following a broken or mistyped link now lands on a calm Periscope page that explains the address wasn't found and points you back to the app or the help center, instead of a generic error screen.

UX

A redesigned verification console

Your document, front and centre

The console now leads with a large preview of the document you are checking on the left, with the verification levels, result, and history beside it. While a check runs, a soft band sweeps down the document as it is read.

An Expert view when you want the detail

A toggle in the header opens a deeper view with the full analysis and the raw result behind every check, each in its own section you can expand as needed.

Help

Worked examples in the help center

See a check as you read about it

The help articles now show small live examples: an upload, the three checks running in order, and the fields being read out, so the walkthrough is easier to picture.

LandingUX

A refreshed landing page

A live look at a check, right on the homepage

The landing page now opens with an animated console that plays a verification as you arrive: a document is read, the checks resolve, and the result fills in with its scores and fields. It runs in both light and dark, and settles into the finished result.

Clearer walkthrough of how it works

The How it works and result sections now show illustrated views of a document being uploaded, read, and verified, so it is easier to picture what Periscope does before you open it.
